| Using Principles of Physics to Spot Price Frequency Identifying Trends |
|
Speaker: Tim Morge - Market Geometry and Blackthorne Capital, Inc.
Long time trader and educator Tim Morge is also a popular visiting physics professor at several prestigious US universities. His background in physics guides the way he views the markets:
- Extreme to Balance to Extreme: “As Above, So Below”
- Markets at rest, tend to stay at rest
- Markets moving, or flowing, tend to continue to flow
- The Frequency of Price can be located early in a move
- Frequency carries through Price as the flow or trend unfolds
In this presentation, Tim will show you how to spot the frequency of price as the seeds of a trend are first being planted, and how he uses this price frequency, along with price structure, to spot the beginnings of a trend and then find an early, high probable entry. Tim will also show how he relies on physics principles when drawing on price charts and how he uses ten or twelve bars on a twenty minute bar chart as a trend is first unfolding to project lines with frequency that often describe price five or six days later. That means you can find multiple entry opportunities as the trend unfolds for five or six days.
The goal of this webinar is to provide a better understanding of how and why trends begin and flow – using a little line and a little physics!

| Commodity Currencies Make the World Go Round |
|
Speaker: Tim Morge - Market Geometry and Blackthorne Capital, Inc.
Even though interest rates on the major currencies are all approaching zero, the world is still open for business. Join professional trader and educator, Tim Morge, as he looks at major currencies that are moved by physical flows (payments for actual natural resources), such as the Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar. Movements in these currencies are more easily tracked or anticipated by looking at the movements in natural resources.
Tim will concentrate primarily on two currency pairs he feels that currency traders should be charting and trading daily: the Canadian Dollar and the Australian Dollar, with a special eye on the Canadian Dollar/Japanese Yen, because in this world so intertwined with the price of Energy, the physical flows and their resulting payments are both very traceable and very trade-able. Both of the currencies of these resource rich countries refuse to trade along with the views of most economists.
The caveats that remain in parallel, are flight to safety and or flight to liquidity. A handful of the largest money managers each control several trillion dollars in assets. But no matter how much they manage, they must struggle to generate a respectable rate of return. The Eastern Polish economy may be generating superb returns, but its investment vehicles have too small a total capacity and are rather illiquid, when compared with the investment options available in the major countries. If the United States markets are perceived to be likely to generate a steady or positive yield, the larger pools of money are forced to invest in the United States just because of its stability and liquidity, if the carry trade is no longer available.
In addition, Tim will show the strong correlation between the movement of energy prices and the Canadian Dollar, against both the Euro and the US Dollar, discussing the possibility of how soon the United States becoming totally energy independent and once that happens, becoming a significant net exporter of energy products and all sorts of natural resources.

| In a Low Interest Rate World Is the Carry Trade Dead? |
|
Speaker: Tim Morge - Market Geometry and Blackthorne Capital, Inc.
Traders, investors and money managers often base their decisions on rates of return. In the FX markets, this means comparing the interest rate of one country to the interest rate of another. These types of trades are extremely popular and are called 'carry trades', because you borrow currency at the lower rate and earn interest on the currency with the highest interest rate.
But what if the interest rates offered by the major countries are all very close to one another - and are fairly close to zero? In this scenario, 'carry trades' don't offer much opportunity for profits. And as 2013 begins, carry trades in the currencies of the major countries are not worth the bother. How will it change how you will think about trading currencies?
Tim will show you how to find and trade opportunities in the FX Futures markets, even if the interest rate differential between the major countries has collapsed. With a change in emphasis and solid money management and risk return, there are opportunities to be made in this environment!

| Projecting Price Paths for High Probability FX Trade Entries |
|
Speaker: Tim Morge - Market Geometry and Blackthorne Capital, Inc.
In this session professional trader, Tim Morge, will show how he uses a simple line and market structure to project where time and space might meet, providing an opportunity for a high probability trade entry in the FX futures market. Tim will feature two of his own proprietary line methods and discuss how each can be used to project the probable path of price and time, meaning how much price, or “space”, must work through before it reaches a critical juncture indicating a high probability trade entry.
First, Tim will go through the basics of the balance line, how it relates to market structure, how to identify market phase (up trend, down trend or range] and how he is able to spot the 'flow', or change, from one phase to another. This involves using one simple line and observing how price interacts with this line, which is an early indicator of trend change.
Next, Tim will go through the basics of the maximum excursion line, one of his most useful proprietary tools, and show how it estimates the probable path of price. Tim will show how the maximum excursion line can project where price and time may meet to indicate the nexus, or area, where high probability opportunities are likely to appear. Tim will combine this one simple line with Newton's Laws of Motion to reveal the Geometry that runs throughout the markets..

| Strategic Swing Trading - Mapping and Framing the Metals Markets |
|
Speaker: Tim Morge - Market Geometry and Blackthorne Capital, Inc.
Join professional trader and educator, Tim Morge, as he discusses how traders may be able to take advantage of euphoria and panic in the metals markets. Traders may get nervous when metals prices go down and nervous when metals prices go up and they aren’t long. This is a natural human reaction that every trader must understand and manage.
Tim will show you how he uses swing trades in the metals markets, how he sets logical profit targets and exit levels, then waits for the market to head back to an area of balance to re-enter. Swing trading presents an alternative to a buy and hold strategy in the metals. It took more than 20 years for Gold and Silver to get back to their 1980’s nominal highs. See how Tim Morge uses use swing trading with reasonable profit targets and how he works profit floor orders to preserve profit potential.

| Hunting Major Turning Points in the Grain Markets |
|
Speaker: Tim Morge - Market Geometry and Blackthorne Capital, Inc.
Long time professional trader and educator Tim Morge will share how he seeks high probability long term entries in the CME Group Grain markets. Tim will show you some of the proprietary methods he has honed for long term trading while mentoring other large traders and managers at the now-legendary Commodities Corporation.
Each Spring, Tim uses market structure and Andrews' Median Lines, along with surgeon-like money management, to identify high probability buy areas in the grains. He relies on his vast knowledge of the seasonal tendencies of each of the CBOT Grain futures markets for that particular year, something he calls "Biologics", to help him confirm buying or selling opportunities.
Tim will show you how, once he is in a long term grain position, he uses money management tools to greatly improve his trading. He will show you how he 'frames' a potential long term trade in the grains and share with you the 'engine' that he uses to drive a series of long term grain trades: Risk-Reward, as taught to him by Amos Hostetter. He will explain how and why he collapses his risk as a trade begins to unfold, and how he chooses logical profit targets for his grain trades.
